I have professional experience working with children as young as 2 and adults across the lifespan. As a developmental psychologist, I work collaboratively with my clients to facilitate personal growth and development. As part of the hard work of therapy, my clients can expect to increase their level of understanding of personal strengths and seek resolution to current difficulties by increasing skill sets that improve therapeutic outcomes and long term gains.
Areas of support include but are not limited to, child and family therapy for children experiencing difficulties with learning and behavior, ADHD, depression, anxiety, social skills deficits, trauma, and sports performance. Support services for adults include but are not limited to, parenting coaching, marriage and family, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, stage of life issues, college related difficulties, adult ADHD, and grief. A portion of my practice is dedicated to the practice of sports psychology, specifically, helping athletes play to be their best, no matter the game.
The therapeutic relationship provides a unique environment for problem resolution that builds on the personal strengths of each participant. My strengths include, compassion, creativity, high ethical standards, commitment to outcomes, respect for personal resources and time, a passion for my profession and a conceptual model that respects the inherent treasures each individual possesses. I do realize there are times when my services are not a good match for every problem or personality. In situations where that appears to be the case, I will work diligently to refer you to a more compatible provider. I welcome any questions you may have. Trust that they will be handled in a respectful and confidential manner.
